Room I
The Person

David Bornstein (b. 1958), a Canadian-American journalist, chronicled Muhammad Yunus's Grameen Bank and then the global rise of citizen-sector innovators. Co-founder of the Solutions Journalism Network and long-time co-author of the New York Times 'Fixes' column, he gave social entrepreneurship its defining narrative.

Room II
The Idea in Context

Bornstein chronicled how social entrepreneurs mobilize organizations against social problems — leadership measured by mission outcomes, scaling impact rather than profit.
